Trolle Ljungby MacNab

The Trolle Ljungby MacNab is the Swedish counterpart to the prestigious Scottish MacNab Challenge, a tradition inspired by the 1925 novel John Macnab by John Buchan. This outdoor sporting challenge draws on rich history and tests one’s mettle against the rugged backdrop of Trolle Ljungby Estate wilderness.

Diana’s principles of respecting nature and honing skills are at the heart of this challenge, which demands mastery over shotgun, fly fishing, rifle stalking. Within a single day, from sunrise to sunset, participants must accomplish three tasks: shoot two wild geese, catch a salmon, and stalk a fallow buck.
Each task requires precision, patience, and a deep connection with the natural world.

The challenge is not about skill, It celebrates the age-old bond between humans and the land, pushing adventurers to their limits while fostering an appreciation for Sweden’s breathtaking landscapes and diverse wildlife.

Driven Hunt

Join Jakob Mielcke at Trolle Ljungby Estate for driven hunt is a truly unique experience, offering an incredible variety of wildlife, including wild boar, moose, red deer, fallow deer, mouflon, roe deer, and fox.

This hunt takes place in November when the weather is cold and unpredictable.
